Norton first arrived at The Cat Shelter in September, 2008, when he was unclaimed from the pound. At that time he was a handsome, svelte young 2-year-old male cat with a friendly, gentle personality. He was eventually adopted in July, 2009, by one of The Shelter volunteers, and went to live with her family and their 2 resident cats. Unfortunately, the original 2 cats turned out to be aggressive and territorial to the extreme with poor Norton. Over the next few months, the bullying increased. When it became apparent that the situation was only going to worsen for Norton, he returned to The Shelter in April, 2010. He is now a mature, not-so-svelte cat with the same quiet, gentle personality. He gets along fine with the rest of the Shelter cats, enjoys his walk-abouts in the Shelter, keeps his kennel clean and tidy, and keeps his white coat clean and well-groomed. Norton needs a quiet home, a window from which to watch the world, and someone to love him.
